Green and Blue

Well it’s quite amazing what a little bit of rain will do to change the colors of a whole yard. The past two days have been quite hot, but before that we had a couple days of good rain. And what a difference it makes.

The grass certainly needs cutting urgently every week, the trees fill out and the leaves get large. Flowers in the garden start to take on amazing colors. It seems that the right mix of sun and heat and rain can be quite magical.

So I suppose that during these days we are living in a time of magic.

The farmers are happy too, and I guess in its own way, that’s magical as well. :-)
