Bee Happy

I drove over to Skipton to give Ruby a lift to her job.
She can walk or cycle there but it’s a hilly six miles and she is teaching some ballet this evening.
Came home and did some decorating prep.
Filled all those little hairline cracks that don’t look bad until you emulsion over them and then you wish you had done them.
Mr P was all about preparation for any DIY job whereas l’m a bit full on because l just want jobs finished. But bearing in mind his advice l’ve done the filling in and sanding down. Looks ok too.
Then tidied out a cupboard that hold all my decorations from that festival in late December.
Threw quite a few items away, seemed easier to do it in mid summer . Now have room to put my large sewing box in there and a box of light bulbs, seem to need so many different ones these days
This afternoon l drove over to pick Ruby up from ‘Tea on The Green’ at Bolton Abbey when she had finished her shift. She had been really busy as it is so hot and sunny.
A lovely surprise for me as she had got me a take away flat white and a slice of coffee cake!
Took her home and said l will do the same tomorrow.
Just trying to sum up the energy to paint a small but fiddly ceiling in my porch now that it has clouded over.
Going to do it in a vest and some old pj bottoms are they are the coolest clothes l have.
Lots of bees in the garden today and the extra is where Ruby works, not the best of photographs as it was taken from the car.
