Orange Poppies

Lovely day, lovely temperature, lovely breeze. Now (21:20pm), along with much of the UK, awaiting three days of, on and off, heavy rain and likely thunderstorms.

Got nowhere with Sainsbury’s, re my complaint yesterday. You can’t email them, the contact no. on their website doesn't work, the (polite) agent said I had ticked the terms and conditions!

So they expect you to read about 50 pages of terms and conditions before you place a shopping order! Come on. Not the Sainsbury’s I remember as a child. Good way to lose customers.

Would you expect a gift card for £180 not to be usable in one online transaction - the limit is £50. To get round this, I cleverly split the order into 4 deliveries.

They said they were unable to combine the four orders, despite the fact that it’s better for their company – rather than do 4 separate small deliveries, of which three are tomorrow morning, between 07:00-14:00 hrs.

After speaking to Sainsbury’s, and light lunch, went for a walk on the clifftop, then returned home. Not sure what I’ve been doing since then, but it’s almost time to go to bed. Will keep an eye on Italy v Switzerland footie, currently 2:0 with around 15mns to go.
