Should we or shouldn't we?

We did. A cheeky paddle at Ullswater. The rain and wind settled, we paddled to Norfolk Island (see map) and back, had lots of giggles followed by a cuppa and a sticky donut post paddle. 
Penrith mountain rescue were having a practice evening. We watched with our tea.
