Life after Burradoo, NSW

By MountGrace

A bit colourless today

A very quiet day at home today after our second AZ injections yesterday. We've had no untoward reactions, just feeling a bit tired and colourless. As are some of our photos from our first trip together to the UK and Ireland in 1984. It's a shame because we so loved that trip. So 37 years later, some current technology and a quiet day at home to the rescue.

The top colourless photo of this splendid chap is what our original photo now looks like. I scanned it using my wonderful little batch scanner which produces two copies, one of the photo as it is and another showing the results of the scanner software attempting to restore the photo (see middle photo). Sometimes that's good enough, but not this time. Enter Photoshop. I'm very much an amateur at this but I enjoy playing. The bottom photo is my attempt and it's the version I have printed for our rejuvenated album.

I wish someone could batch scan and photoshop me!!
