Flag

I like the flag against the blue sky with the sun shining. Taken on my walk home at about 5:30 - the sun is still shining at 5:30. Hooray for that. It won't tomorrow, we're expecting a return to snow then. Oh and despite the sunshine, it didn't get above 1°C today.

A good day at work - I got to play with some REXX which was a lot of fun and I got it to do the first part of what I wanted it to do. It's amazing the difference between "on a course" REXX and "real world" REXX. Still, I'm getting there. Had a good chat with a colleague about learning German and feeling comfortable about the progress I'm making. Best bit of advice was that it'll probably take me a couple of years to be comfortable with both my job and my German, such is the complexity of what we do. I'm only 3 and a half months in and I'm getting there.
