Met up with some old friends in our favourite venue, first time since before Christmas.
We discuss the "new normal" and Brexit. Shortages are a common theme. Supermarkets no longer offer quite the same abundant choice . Every week home deliveries often send stuff thats almost out of date, fruit that's  rotten or inapproproate substitutes so much so that we are now plannning to move to another , albeit more expensive  supermarket,  chain.
We have also  found shortages in local pharmacies and garden centres too.
