This NBA appears to be missing a couple of white spots on its hind wings in the segments closest to the abdomen.

It is well documented that hairstreak butterflies are known to rub their hind wings together but I can find no reference to NBAs doing so but that is exactly what it was doing as I took this.
Maybe it was feeling a little uneasy as I pushed the camera ever closer to it?
Maybe it just had an itch between its shoulders.
Or could it just be that it was trying to twerk!
