If you can't beat them...

Wild White Clover (Trifolium repens )

I was visiting Kanyl and as usual I wandered round the garden looking for a blip.  We missed out on our walk as he had a telephone appointment scheduled.  I took various shots but this clover appealed to me.

Wild White Clover is a frequent plant in grass seed mixtures.  Not for garden lawns but fields and recreation areas.  Being a legume it is nitrogen fixing so helps supply nitrogen to the plants around it.  If you have clover growing in your lawn you will notice it has very dark green leaves compared to the grass, all the effect of the extra nitrogen it has.
