Pop Of Colour On A Grey Day

We have a few wild poppy plants that I have saved from MrQ's strimmer. I've been checking them daily for bugs as I prefer to photograph flowers with bugs in situ. I'm surprised that so far I haven't seen any visitors on them. I got the above shot this morning. Droplets are the next best thing.

As it has been raining all day Ollie and I have been amusing ourselves in the large aluminium block of disused glasshouses which is home, not only to baby Blackie but also to a family of robins. I've been trying out the eye recognition feature on the R5 and getting on quite well with it. I'm impressed by how it and the 100-500 deals with poor light.
