Busy Wren

When we went for our last walk yesterday evening I saw a wren perched on the digger that we let the local builder leave at ours. It's together with his two dumper trucks and a trailer in an area close to our neighbour's farmyard.

I decided to spend some time there today between the showers. Two adult wrens were working hard collecting insects and spiders for their brood which I could hear cheeping. I think the nest might be in the wheel arch of the digger.
