Tiny Tuesday ....

... Summer color Blue.

I wanted to get some photos of the Eastern Black swallowtail cats (caterpillars) while they are still tiny!  This shows the progress they have made since the eggs were laid back on June 6.  I also blipped one of the eggs on June 8.

These cats are less than one centimeter long ... probably closer to half a centimeter.   As I post this (on June 19) the cats have grown exponentially and are now about an inch long.  I love watching their progress from eggs to cats to beautiful butterfly.

I've added an extra of some Blue Jay photos that I took during my chippy photo shoot.  And, yes, the Blue Jay actually took a peanut from my tiny blue cup.
