Dumped

We waited in line for 1 1/4 hours to unload our hazardous chemicals out at the county fairgrounds today, even though we had a reservation. The collection company over promised their ability and underestimated the time. A smiling sheriff came along and moved a line of traffic into the fairgrounds to unblock the surrounding roads. Then he visited each vehicle for a quick chat to keep everyone cool tempered.  It worked.  And it was good to see so many people being responsible with dangerous chemicals.  By November a facility will be constructed that we can visit any time for disposal purposes.

These pictures were taken as we waited. I really liked the silhouette painting on the barn.  Extra:  It appears this horse has been gnawing on the fence quite a bit.  Both photos were lightened up since it was a dark day with spitting showers.
