Day trip

Back to her Uni town to check on her room and sort a few things out at the end of academic year 2. Hopefully, normal uni life will resume in October for my daughter. The past year and a term have been hugely disrupted.

On our way down the motorway, we were chatting so much that I missed the exit! This resulted in an extra 30 minutes of driving...as the next exit was 15 minutes away and then 15 minutes back. Only my petrol gauge was really low at this point so I was getting a bit anxious. The rest of the day was all very pleasant. We stopped at our favourite garden centre for lunch and some purchases :-)

There was barely anyone on the roads driving home. Saturday night + Euro football + warm sunny weather = beautiful quiet drive through lovely scenery.

All in all a lovely day together.
