In Training

Round the corner at the Lemonseed café this morning were this cheerful bunch taking refreshments. I asked them what they were up to (cycling , obvs.). They explained that they were a group training for an upcoming ladies only charity ride from London to Cambridge. This information came from the only man present who they told me is their leader/guide although they added that they mostly lead and guide him.

They immediately shouted him down and said it was the other way round -  from Cambridge to London. Furthermore, they didn't seem sure who they were raising money for. Was it the homeless poor in Bangladesh or building new mosques in Kenya. There seemed to be disagreement.

Nevertheless, they were all keen for me to take their group photo and whatever the good cause, they were obviously having fun doing it. Good luck to them and a safe ride.
