Life through the lens...

Oakwell Hall.

I haven’t visited Oakwell Hall for maybe 12 months.
The first thing I noticed was the flower bed by the carpark was overgrown with weeds.
Usually pristine and lovely perennials.
Then walking through to the gardens I found that was the same. I presume no one has been able to look after them because of Covid.
However the old fashioned roses were flowering and looking beautiful. So they are the main photos in my collage.
Another taken of one of the Moorhen chicks. Just look at those big feet!
The other the herb garden by the hall. Now the herbs have been overgrown by the wild flowers. Still looks very pretty.
Hopefully by next year things will be back to normal.

Mr C has enjoyed his Father’s Day with cards, presents, and a visit by our eldest son and daughter- in - law.
Nice to now be able to sit down and have a chat inside. Today was a bit too cold for sitting outside as it has been dull and much colder today. Hope the warm weather returns soon.
