Last day on the Gold Coast

We’ve definitely got our rental house sorted and we can move in tomorrow! Yay!!!

We are all feeling a little sad as we have gotten to love this property, sparsely furnished as it is. It’s been a place of refuge during our transition from Hong Kong to Oz. We never thought that we would live in it, and because it became vacant in December, it really helped us make our decision to return to Oz. We had somewhere to stay when we came back.

I took the boys out for a bit as Martin had some business calls to make. We picked up some empty boxes from the Outlet Mall for packing.

Martin got his letter of appointment today! CFO to a property management group, family run business. Perfect for him, and exactly what he was looking for. Thank You Lord.

We decided to eat out as we’d packed up the kitchen and went to a lovely Thai restaurant in our local Westfield. We all shared how much we’ve enjoyed this small chapter of our lives, stressful as it’s been, but all part of the journey.

Tomorrow, the start of our new lives in Noosa, Sunshine Coast.
