Summer Solstice

A very busy day. Another stage of Operation Greenhouse is cutting down a large buddleia bush that unfortunately has to be removed to make space. I filled my brown bin and arranged with a neighbour to use hers after her grass has been cut tomorrow. 
I then walked to Saughton Park to meet a couple of friends. It was looking stunning with the peonies in full bloom.
In the evening I went to the cinema with another friend to see In The Heights. We both enjoyed it and it really felt like we were doing something 'normal' again.
When we got back I went into my garden around 10.15pm to take a picture as it was still daylight on the longest day
