LD 454 The unrestored part

The wonderful Victorian Pier in Dunoon had a make over five years ago  - or rather part of it did.

One part  remains unrestored and was, unfortunately,  looking very shabby in the brilliant sun light this afternoon.   

The great fear is that a fierce winter storm, driving up from the south west on a high tide, could make matchsticks of this structure.   I hope before it is too late that the job, so well started, is  finally finished.
