3000 Blips

Well here I am on my 3000th blip. I started nearly twelve years ago but I fell off the wagon for a while and missed out on a few blips. It has been a great journey and I have made many friends along the way. Meeting blippers in real life and on blipfoto.  I was started off on Blipfoto by TP who I worked with. He has since retired off to the warmer climate of Clonakilty. The early days of Blipfoto were great fun. I miss the rivalry over who should have got Blip of the Week and those who thought that they should have got it. The Polaroid adventure and the skirmishes over what was appropriate or inappropriate. Putting a border on your photo was a no no. There were blippers who passed away and those who left. Of those who left I miss dhackett68, oldmills and david77.
 
Raheny_Eye was one of the first blippers I met in person. He has been trying to get rid of me since. I have been at his two photographic exhibitions and we have shared an odd pint and swim together. I met Joesblips, a great lover of everything photographic. He escaped to Finland but we are in contact through Blipfoto.Here are a few of the blips of blippers I met.
