Magnificent Maharaja

This is the entry door to the Maharaja Restaurant in Georgetown. The magnificent decoration of the door was an indicator of things to come. The interior was very bright, probably just too bright to photograph.

This is the restaurant above the Indian boutique which was the subject of one of my earlier blips so you can imagine what the interior was like. The food was pretty tasty too.

We went there for a farewell dinner as Sarah who has been working with us is going home on Friday. The evening ended up with more people than cars to go home, so I ended up travelling in the boot of our 4x4, fortunately it wasn't a long trip, and the guys let me out.
