Dark Green and Dingy

We went back to Trowbarrow today as Linda had not been with me before and I wanted to show her the profusion of orchids currently in bloom.  It was also a good day for butterflies today.  We saw several Common Blue, Northern Brown Argus, Meadow Brown, a couple of the lovely Dark Green Fritillary pictured above and the Dingy Skipper (extra).  I had not previously seen a Dingy Skipper which is scarce nationally but locally common here.
