Evening Primrose

The first of our Evening Primrose flowers this year - on a plant I bought from a charity plant stall beside the road just a few weeks ago.

The flower actually opened during the course of the day: this, along with its appearance, suggest to me it might well be a variety of Oenothera pilosella.
