Neck

Michelle announced that today is the longest day for the longest necked animal: World Giraffe Day. It’s also International Day of Yoga, which reminded me of flexible times in Phnom Penh. I’d like to gain back even a modicum of that form.

I walked around at lunchtime, and heard lots of whooping from inside Trinity Hall, presumably from students whose exams are over. In the meadows in front of King’s College, cattle swung their tails, and a family of swans filtered algae and water with a sound akin to twenty cats lapping milk at breakneck speed.
