The Sweetest thing

I like Polo's as much as the next person. In fact there is usually a packet in the car, the kids each get one polo when we are going on a journey and have to see how long they can make it last. It keeps them quiet for a while and puts off the "are we there yet" chants. Ruby is the Smith family champion, which she puts down to iron discipline and the fact she stores the polo in her cheek or her "polo pouch" rather than suck it.

I am also partial to Maltesers. Who isn't?

So, I always knew that the homage to a Polo and Maltesers by the side of the Cockenzie power station would be a blip at some stage. And today was the day.
