Dunham Massey Rose Garden

Kate and I went to Dunham on 30 April and the roses were in bud. I guessed they would be out now as mine are. It poured down this morning but I was determined to go. Traffic was awful on the motorway but it was all worth it as the rose garden was gorgeous. The roses looked spectacular with raindrops. There was an overall lovely perfume in the garden. I took so many photos it was hard to choose hence the collages. The man in the main collage was doing a sketch, much easier to take photos! I was lucky as there were very few people about. The Iris was not in the rose garden but I just loved its colour and shape. An awful journey home and I came off the motorway. A glass of wine now to recover!
