Impassable.....

It's been a bit of an unpleasant day today! In Guernsey when you are approaching 60 which I am in October the hospital offer free Bowel Cancer Screening. Guess where I spent an hour a lunchtime? I can't say the process was pleasant but it was worthwhile and the result was good! When hubby collected me he went a different way home to show me this lane still impassable with snow. We have a small 4x4 and had to turn around! Some roads are more than a metre high with snow covering one lane of the road. Most places are clear. Worst snow for 50 years and about 50 trees down due to weight of snow and gale force winds. Lovely sunshine today at times and warmer!
