Afternoon tea ladies?....

As a belated Mother's day gift my brother and his wife treated my Mum to afternoon tea at a local hotel. Dad has been a little better this week and so Mum was happy to come out and have a change of scenery. In the picture is Mum, me, my daughter-in-law, my niece and my sister- in-law. we had a lovely time with endless cups of tea, smoked salmon sandwhiches and other flavours too! Warm home made scones, guernsey cream and jam and a selection of little cakes. We took the left overs home for the men! It was so lovely to be together like this. A special afternoon!
