Luddington

We decided to have a little drive over to Luddington after lunch, and after the women's final at Eastbourne.  We had a walk around the lock and mini marina, sitting for a while on a bench to watch the waterfall.  Ann said taking photos of waterfalls only gives half a story, one has to hear it too.  So I not only took two or three photos, see extras, I shot a thirty second video of it on my phone.  And she's right, waterfalls look better with sound, preferably, of course, the real thing!

We then went back into the village and took a look at the little church and it's churchyard before exploring a couple of public footpaths, one leading to the river and one not.

On our walk we passed an old farmhouse that was under renovation.  The original gates were still standing though looking a little worse for wear, hopefully they'll be spruced up and used too.  In the meantime I felt they were a suitable candidate for this week's Derelict Sunday hosted by Marlieske.

In other news: I saw the last few minutes of the Wales match.....oh well; it'll be England's turn next.
