Too Darn Hot!

Hamish and Phil know how to handle the heat...

The Pacific Northwest area of the United States is experiencing record high temperatures today through Monday, increasing each day. This Guardian article gives a comprehensive overview of our unusual weather.

Today's high, which I'm experiencing as I write, is 91 F (33 C). On Sunday, the expected high will be 97 F (36 C) and on Monday, forecast to peak at 100 F (37.5). Temperatures in Seattle and Portland are -- and will be -- still higher.

Thank goodness the 4th of July fireworks are more than a week off...
