Joining the party

Well, after yesterday's relative success, the Fujis and the Camera Remote app were back to normal, ie not working. I now seem able to fairly reliably get an initial connection, b ut then this is dropped in anything between less than a minute to less than half an hour (most generally 5-10 minutes). The same happened with the X-H1, X-T2 and X-t1, though usually the X-H1 is by far the worst. As around 20% of my photos need to be taken using the camera remotely (age and health are a factor here), the failure of the Fujis in this respect i an order loser.

However, I've now 'solved' the problem - the Fujis have been retired and I have gone back to micro four thirds, which all have remote operation which actually works reliably, and the apps, both Olympus and Panasonic work very well, as do their PC-USB connections and programs.
