Bamburgh Castle

The morning we left Seahouses the weather was glorious; it had to be as it's Sod's Law! 

We had a quick stroll up the beach to get a shot of the castle behind the lupins before driving back down to Gloucestershire. I did feel quite sad that it had been a wasted trip with not a glimmer of a puffin but at least it was a change of scene.
