Gifford Park Mural

I often cut through Gifford Park on route to Holyrood Park on a run as I did today.  This wall mural was designed by Kate George in 2015 and was commissioned by the Southside Association to help stop anti-social behaviour and graffiti in the area.   She's created a great piece of art that reflects all the good and positive things in the neighbourhood - it makes me smile when I pass through!

I managed to see the first half of the England v. Germany footie before I set off for yoga tonight.  I avoided all pub windows on my way home so I could watch the second half without any spoilers.   Two excellent goals from England take them through to the quarter finals.
