Pictorial blethers

A different dusk

A night away from home to see the half of my family who hope to get away this weekend - all going well we won’t see them till the end of the school holidays. We drove through to Leith with the air con on the whole way, though the car thermometer did drop as we headed east. #2 son treated us to a night in the Malmaison, though he cooked the most fabulous dinner for us this evening. Both granddaughters played (piano, trombone) for their grandad, and we had some hilarious conversations in between. We’ll see them again in the morning, apart from 10 year old Anna, who’s still going into school.

Blipping the view of The Shore as we scurried back to the hotel over the cobbles, through a gloaming that has become decidedly chilly. And forgetting to text that we’d got back safely…

I feel just a weensie bit like a wayward teen …
