Wee friend

A dilemma today: I took a black and white of one of the many dramatic cloudscapes over Glasgow today but I settled for this cheeky wee guy for today's blip.

Ah Elmo. He has been in our family for some time now. He has been dunked in the bath, in deserts, in soups, in play dough, in earth, in mud, in sand and yet he never loses his infectious smile. Oh Elmo I aspire to have your ability to take all life throws at you and retain your infectious optimism.

It is no wonder Elmo gets to go a lot of places, clutched in a small hand that is growing larger. I hope that hand will always remember the optimism it carried around so diligently when it was wee.
