See the Sun in the Sea

Took one of our Brazilian families to Lisbon for the day - walked along the boardwalk in Parque das Nações, had a (superb) ice-cream at the Vasco da Gama centre, they went on the cable car, and main attraction - the Oceanarium.

The main tank is seven metres deep and holds five million litres of seawater, and you can watch the fish on different levels and from loads of different places. Various types of sharks, huge mantas, schools of all sorts, but the weirdest has to be this sun fish, which, oddly, is called a moon fish in Portuguese.

Anyway, a good day.

Gratefuls:
- Mike, as ever, driving us safely there and back
- easy company and good conversation
- the mind blowing creativity of the Creator: the variety of colours, shapes, modes of locomotion, abilities and lifestyles of ocean creatures are just incredible
