Trying the Train

Second session at Northern Ballet.
No more now until September, let’s hope the sessions this week will lead to regular classes returning then.
Tuesday l travelled by bus so today l tried out the train.
The first train l’ve been on in nineteen months.
A seventeen minute journey compared to exactly an hour on the bus.
On the other hand, the bus is free but a return journey on the train is £3.20 return : a good price l think.
The train and station were scrupulously clean.
Felt very safe.

Had a really good experience in John Lewis where the consultant at Bobbi Brown gave me an unused,  full size tester of a product l have used for twenty years which has now been discontinued in my favourite shade.
That saved me £23 !

Was not too keen on some people in the city not keeping to social distances. In my village and nearby towns l find people far more aware and courteous to others.
So l didn’t want to hang around after ballet and walked quickly back to the station.

Did Granny taxi first thing and just having a coffee and some scrambled eggs before  l’m  back for my second shift.
Will be good to see all three girls.
