In Situ

There was a temptation to to remove this fuchsia flower and dangle it like a ballerina but it look so right in situ l just couldn’t move it.
The troughs l put at the front of the house instead of the huge overgrown lavender ( which was hard work to remove) have been a success.
So far l have changed the plants in spring and now summer, keeping the theme of green white a range of purples and blues.

New month so l am recording lasts months steps, not my best month in miles but the first month of the year l have consistently topped at least 10, 000 every day, April was the lowest total as that was when l had Covid.
I made it a point to aim for an average each month ( as we always need to listen to our bodies) so l don’t feel bad if  l have an off day.
Target was 1, 000 miles a year  but am already up to 763 miles in six months.
Never really talked about it before but l had crippling anxiety about walking on my own directly after Mr P died. Couldn’t put into words why it happened but it did.
Started walking again by driving out of the village and walking around different parks and trails and gradually got the confidence to walk in my immediate vicinity but it took a good eighteen months.
Feel l’ve cracked it now.

Going to see A Little Night Music at Leeds Playhouse tonight, Rebecca is picking me up and we are going out for an early supper first ( or as we say up North - a bit of tea first).
Now ballet has finished for the academic year my daughter has a bit of time to do some of the things she enjoys.
