Climbing High

We had a (nearly) whole Flumlet day today, full of action and fun as he had requested.

We began with a diversion, as we were too early for our destination, and stopped to check on something they discovered on their dog-walks, a place where owl pellets are found - and between us collected over a dozen to examine later (extra photo 1, of a particularly interesting one).

So to Eden Rock (main picture), where Mr Flum supervised and I sat with a very nice latte, until he tired and we came to our house, where he insisted on taking the farm outside, but was distracted by Bramble wandering over for a stroke - most unusual, she usually walks away from him, (extra 2). He had time to continue a line of animals begun when he'd popped in at the weekend, taking it round the sitting room, out into the hall and up the stairs as far as the bathroom, we counted 185 individuals, though I notice he omitted the three that were to end the line so we'll total at 188.

A good lunch was enjoyed before we jumped in the car, drove to a space on a suitable bus route, and went (at the front of the top deck, of course) to the museum. Here we found that Covid restrictions limited the route and places we hoped to see, but did include the shop where a disgusting interesting rubbery scorpion was purchased with a view to teasing his friends/ parents/ us... (sorry, Mum).

Returning to the car, again top deck of the bus, he was delivered to his dancing class nearer his home and breezed in with barely a farewell.
So Mr Flum and I came home to a very quiet house, tripping over  carefully avoiding animals all over the floor for a relaxing evening to fall asleep.

Where does the boy get his energy? Can he spare some, do you think?
