Nice day for it

Jamie decided to celebrate a lovely summer day with Bella's first train ride.   She was initially nervous of the noise and bustle, especially the train whistle but by the end she was asleep.   In between she got many admiring looks from the folk we met :-)

The views were beautiful as always and it was good to see a few old friends up and down the line, including the guard, Louisa and engine driver, Rachel, both of whom have been friends since my teenage years.
   
Laundry, three hours at work, a visit from a builder who can make the concrete greenhouse base and I made the best Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni yet using the last of our home grown spinach and the first of our home grown basil in the sauce.  Yum!
