Arran

We left Islay today on the early ferry back to Kennacraig from Port Askaig. The extra is the wee harbour at Port Askaig looking over to Jura. Once on the mainland we went up the Marilyn, Cnoc a' Bhaile-shios near the terminal. It was warm, but with enough breeze to keep most of the midges at bay. We walked up a forest road that soon deteriorated to a boggy path before getting out onto the heathery hillside that was decidedly hard going. However the views were really good and the blip is a view looking south to Arran over a (very) wee lochan.

Best on black.
