Swan on Aqualate Mere

Took a short drive out to a place called Aqualate Mere. (see map location below).

It's a glacial lake (apparently the largest natural lake in the West Midlands), which is also a National Nature Reserve.

You can only see the lake from the bird hide, which is where I took this shot.

We walked along the side of the lake where you can see the bluebell plants just emerging from the ground.
