Watching the Grass Grow...

...is like watching paint dry!

This is a three shot pano stitched together in Lightroom of the view from our backyard. 

The foreground is hole #13. In the middle is a short par 3, #12. The middle left side where there is, what looks like water but is the sand of #11 green. With all the trees they took out, we see much more of the golf course. We can also see #10 tee boxes and fairway with a good pair of binoculars or zoom lens. 

The sod was laid in certain areas so the different grass seeds would not mix. The other green you see is the mulch laid over the seed. Still a ways to go before it opens, but it is looking good. 

I am grateful that the morning serenade of the "back-up beepers" on the heavy equipment is now a memory. One gets used to the background noises, but the quiet is bliss.
