Learning day by day

The National Railway Museum

Day two started with the obligatory Premier Inn breakfast. First stop was The Barley Hall which is the third of the Jorvik group of museums. Surprisingly, this held Will's interest more than Jorvik had. It was mostly about medieval medicine and was a different exhibition to the last time we had been there.

We then walked some of the walls, only clockwise is allowed at present and found the fudge shop where Will treated himself and bought Jim some for father's day.

Will asked for McDonald's for lunch and as it was his couple of days I let him have it. We sat in the shade in the Castle gardens to eat and then went to our final destination, the National Railway Museum.

I picked this photo as I have a similar one from last time we visited, but he was much shorter then! We had a good wander round, a drink in the sun and another wander before getting the train home.
