Windräder
Windwheels in English. I thought these look suitably bright on a day of little sunshine. Had a walk round the city centre until the thrill of people walking into my path, or just into me, thoroughly wore off. There is an Easter Market and it was packed with people standing around eating and drinking (this is something beloved here in Germany). And despite the snow on the ground, lots of restaurants had tables outside and people were sitting out. Hardy souls that they are.
We did our shopping and were quickly home. A few hours here and then off to a birthday party for SH. This will be the third birthday party of hers I've been to, which is a thought that makes me realise how long I've been here. Doesn't seem that long at all.
OK and today's song in German. Yesterday's was Aha's "Take On Me" featured the rather lovely word "Krimskrams" which is German for "odds and ends". Today's song is easy, or as I used to say when I was little "pimpsy" :-
Wohin ist dein Papi gegangen
Wohin ist dein Papi gegangen
Wohin ist deine Mami gegangen
Wohin ist deine Mami gegangen
