Ramblings and Mutterings

Day Out

Book the day off to give me some breathing space.

Met up with friends and went for a walk.  Although for one moment the weather was looking dodgy, but thankfully it stayed dry.  Although you wouldn't believe how cold it was, considering we're supposed to be in July.

We ended up walking at abandoned quarries near the iron stronghold of Blaenavon.  In this blip you can see the cracking view of the new A465 that they are still building.

As I type this the Chief Clown is giving a COVID update, caution seems to have gone out the window again if what has been said is true.  As someone who is double jabbed but with an immune system which is still compromised, I'm still very nervous of "normal" especially inside.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  Time out
2.  Meeting friends Ann and Joan for a walk
