Heading Back Down The Path

Today we walked the coast path in the opposite direction to Seaton (see extra) where we stopped at the beachside cafe for a coffee. The early morning sun we enjoyed with our alfresco breakfast gave way to showers while we were there but we headed on for a look round Downderry before coming back to The Smugglers’ Inn at Seaton for a tasty pub lunch and a pint of Sharps’ Sea Fury.

By the time we headed back up the hill towards our cottage the weather was taking a turn for the worse. Here’s Tess striding purposefully towards “home”. Fortunately we got back before it turned really nasty.
