The Mud Maid

We’ve spent the day at The Lost Gardens of Heligan, near Mevagissey, walking all round the flower and kitchen gardens as well as The Jungle, the Lost Valley and the Woodland Walk, where the sculpture in the blip resides.

The gardens were reclaimed in the 1990s, having gone to wrack and ruin after the First World War when many of the gardeners who worked here were killed and the owner decided to move out.

It certainly makes an entertaining day out and was very popular.
