By the seaside, beside the sea

We are staying with friends of ours in Poole on the south coast and how nice it is to see them again. In the afternoon we wandered down to the beach, it was very overcast and grey (blip taken at 16:40) and then it started to rain. It rained all evening.
The photo is of the pier, it is not busy at the moment but in a couple of weeks when school breaks up the pier and surrounding beaches will be crowded, they are lovely clean, sandy beaches.
