Quarter to Eight

A rare Saturday lie-in instead of the usual 9:00 tennis (not sure why we do that...) followed by a remarkably slippery run - quite a lot of which was accomplished with small steps and arms held out in the manner of the beginners' Ballet class doing "Pixie dancing".

In an effort to appear more manly, I mended the "deathtrap" stair. This involved hammering and drilling and stuff and brought the hormone levels back in line.

Then it was off to Bletchley whilst C went to the dentists. I took the camera but it was all a bit too downbeat for me today. Called in at the soul-destroying cave that is TK Maxx. Managed to get out before the Muzak suffocated me completely.

Back at home and had a cup of tea and a first listen to the vinyl copy of Stormoway's new LP (which arrived earlier in the week and was accompanied by a "free" CD version). Shamefully I have been listening to the digital version for days but it was nice hearing the record.

Really should put a new battery in this clock...
